Višegrad is a town and municipality in Republika Srpska, Bosnia and Herzegovina. It rests at the confluence of the Drina and the Rzav river. As of 2013, the municipality has a population of 10,668 inhabitants, while the town of Višegrad has a population of 5,869 inhabitants.

Nestled in the eastern part of the country, Višegrad is a small town with a rich history and natural beauty. One of the most notable sites in the town is the Mehmed Paša Sokolović Bridge, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that dates back to the 16th century. The bridge spans the Drina River and offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains.

In addition to the bridge, Višegrad is also home to the Andrićgrad, a cultural and artistic complex that honors the Nobel Prize-winning writer Ivo Andrić, who was born in the town. The complex features a museum, library, and numerous cafes and shops.
